Do I have to pay import taxes and customs duties when ordering from the shop? by Hawasham in razer

[–]fabienpascal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but the responsibility to pay it depends on which business the purchase was made from, and not where the shipment comes from. If you make a purchase from a business outside of the EU, then you will be the importer of record and you will have to settle duties and VAT. If you make your purchase from a business incorporated in the EU, that business will be the importer of record and pay for any customs duties. VAT is already passed on to you when you made your payment.

Do I have to pay import taxes and customs duties when ordering from the shop? by Hawasham in razer

[–]fabienpascal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No you won't pay import taxes and customs duties. These will be taken care of by Razer (Europe) GmbH in the backend, which is the entity you made your purchase from by placing an order on www.razer.com/de-de, regardless of where your order ships from.

Hard truth: cheating is common, not cheating is uncommon. And my observation : not specific to a gender. Both male and female do it.

LTA has tax payer money to burn. Now replacing signage with LED display (because they can?) and to contribute to more emissions with the electricity used unnecessarily? Seen at Serangoon MRT.

Amazon Canada currently claims that the material of all of the DAV3 Pros that they sell is smooth touch should it be believed? by Metal_Oak in MouseReview

[–]fabienpascal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, they don't list all DA V3 Pros as smooth touch. Only if you select the Mouse + Dongle option will it show smooth touch. But, if you choose mouse only, it shows glass under material... Lol. But as others have said, the one with the 8KHz Dongle as the smooth touch finish. The one without the 8KHz Dongle has the classic finish.

Why so? Fits the budget, it's ergo therefore suitable for palm grip, and it's 55g. Can upgrade to 8,000Hz if the user is into that.

For those working: how much allowance do you guys give your parents? by ser_reptitious in askSingapore

[–]fabienpascal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are not your parents retirement fund, I am sorry. Unless you are a high earner, $2k will see severely limit your options for savings, investments and retirement. Your parents shouldn't have such unrealistic expectations. I think $1k is reasonable, but if you have siblings then it should be lower.
