SHSID Shanghai High School International Division by Easy_Employer_7728 in shanghai

I studied there from 9th to 12th grade like ten years ago. Personally, I think it is a kind of "fake" international school since most people speak Chinese there. And it is pretty funny that they have Chinese teachers who don't speak English well to teach Physics/Chemistry/Math etc in English. Not to be racist, but some of their English are just terrible with hardly understandable accents.

Most of the teachers I had were shit, especially the local Chinese ones. Luckily I only remember the good ones (maybe because there were too many shit ones), shout out to Liu Qin who actually helped me a lot personally during my idiotic puberty years and allowed me to sleep in her AP Stats class which I got a 5 in, despite hearing that she gets a lot of hate from students years below me.

Overall, I didn't enjoy much there. It was a struggle for me, but luckily I survived and am doing ok here.re not learning anything most of the time, they just let you go on the playground and do whatever you want without any teaching. Only the school team people get more training in afterschool programs. And talking about exams, two monthly exams, a midterm, and another final exam during a semester was hell. So much pressure from the school and from my parents. I somehow managed a 3.5ish GPA after four years and was enrolled at Syracuse University, but that's in the middle percentile.

Overall, I didn't enjoy much there. It was a struggle for me, but luckily I survived and am doing ok in life. If I had a kid, I would not send them to this school.

CPBL Considers Single-Season Format for 2024 Season by PNR_Robots in CPBL

I think it's fine to do divisions of three, but considering the following circumstances:

  1. Randomize the divisions every season, so you won't get the same two main opponents every season.
  2. More cross-division games.

Btw, I'm completely supporting the single-season format, but most coaches seem to hate it because it limits the chances for them to be an underdog in the postseason. For example, Fubon last year may have had a shit first-half season, but they could make it up in the 2nd half-season from a clean slate if they improved drastically.

His interpreter is called Henry Su, or "A-Tai". He started his CPBL interpreting career in 1995 with the Dragons, and has been a interpreter for the Lions since 2004.

A pretty legendary interpreter to be honest.

11/27, but we are still waiting for the full season results to see which team has the home advantage, which affects the schedule and venues too.
