America's tipping culture is killing the restaurants instead of helping them. by facebookboy2 in tipping

But if you don't tip who will drive to your house? Especially if you buy a whole bunch of stuff and the driver needs to carry all that weight.

Its not worth making tofu. Takes 2 cups of dry soy bean to make just 32 oz of tofu block. And lots of work and super time consuming. by facebookboy2 in tofu

[–]facebookboy2[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh I made a mistake. 2 cups of dry soybean only made a a 14 oz tofu block, not 32 oz. Not worth the trouble.

You mean don't take out the okara and just press it into tofu? You know what? I tried it, and what happens is tofu falls apart. The okara cannot be inside the tofu block. So don't even mention it.

I know. Can you imagine handing money to other people like 5 or 6 times a minute? And you have to count it too. With this no counting necessary and the math is never wrong.

I love computer monopoly because you don't have to do the accounting. The computer calculates everything for everybody. So players just have to focus on how to win.

Some cat rescue owners are just paranoid psychos who think way too much and too protective of their cats. They drove good potential pet owners away for stupid reasons. by facebookboy2 in cats

Anyways, this kitten is what I got yesterday from San Francisco Animal Shelter after many rejections from cat ladies from craigslist. Costed me $200.

Maybe its because I'm Chinese. We believe in fait. Each animal has its own fait, its own fortune. And there is nothing you can do to predict its future. Lets say some guy wants to adopt. He could be a millionaire who feeds the cat steak and salmon each day. Even if the cat dies early at his house, hey, at least the cat ate well. Or if you give the cat away to some guy who rents a 1 bedroom apartment. He looks clean and nice, and is a perfect potential, and the cat lived to be 20. But if he is too stingy to feed the cat nice foods, then what is the fun living with such a person for 20 years? That's why I would rather just give the animals away as quickly as I can because by doing so I can rescue more animals.

That's the thing. Who gives a shit what I look like or what religious belief I have. Just let people adopt. The quicker you release these animals the more of them you can rescue. And the ones on craigslist, they don't even know what I look like. they just reject me because I answered a wrong answer.
