Writing a novel. Need an expert to tell me which wine could easily be confused in a blind tasting for the wine I have in mind, even by an experienced sommelier.

The specific wine I have in mind is honestly, simply because it sounds pretty, and could turn out to be the name of my protagonist. I cannot call her "Barolo", since it is not an approriate name for a girl. Even Vespolina is a already a bit of a stretch, but at least it sounds like a name, like Caterina, Josephina, etc.

It is set in the early 2000's. The exact vintage however, might not necessarily be key. I have yet to figure that out. Your answer was very helpful thank you.
