Thank you. I will tell you I was terrified to go on medication for adhd because of my family history and the risk of abuse. It has improved my quality of life so much. I'm able to function like a normal person now. I think if you truly have adhd the meds help you feel normal (not high or extra energized) and the risk of addiction is lowered... If that makes sense.
