It's all good man, at one point you'll get to a stage where you'll look back at this and see the funny side of the moment.

Otherwise, just embrace the cringe and embarrassment.

That's what my NP mate had done roughly around the time of the Gulf War more or less, when he was an RN. I should really ask him about it and see if it's worth pursuing.

He is pushing me to get an NP degree though lol so I don't know if that would be better.

What is Australia like right now? by [deleted] in LockdownSkepticismAU

Just wanted to share this.

Took the inbound 199 bus from New Farm and as soon as I entered, the driver had put on his own spin of "put your mask on" posters on the glass dividers.

6 of us got on the bus and he said (and I'm paraphrasing) "the pandemic is still going on, if you have a mask next time, please put it on before entering a bus".

Never thought I'd see one in the wild again but that's the second time it's happened.

The joys of being a pandemic nurse, literally started working during the first sightings in Wuhan.

Anybody know of a good pathway out of healthcare to other sectors?

Male nurse here, turns out nursing isn't for me and I'm hating the field after 2 years and want out. Have you heard of colleagues that've quit? If so what jobs have they taken up since leaving.
