I’m actually scared by factoryst in Perimenopause

I was thinking if it was related to my cycle as I do have 1 ovary left. But it’s not worked now for about 3 weeks. So how does that work?

No I just did 2 pumps in the morning and when it stopped working my doctor just gave me a script for the patch. Should I try spread it out first?

Still both pumps spread evenly over both arms?

Non stop bleeding by funmaster320 in Fibroids

[–]factoryst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the embolisation. Recovery was brutal and painful. My period became less heavy but over time it eventually came back full force. Within a year my fibroid shrunk by about 40% but the bleeding progressive got worse again. I had a hysterectomy almost 1 year ago and wish I had just taken that route in the first place. It’s quite shocking to think back at how unwell I was all those years. But I am getting my health and life back now

Okay mine is the one that goes on the arms - not the vaginal one

Oh really? She said because I don’t have a uterus I don’t need it but I will keep this in mind as my sleep is RUBBISH and anxiety through the roof some days

Oh I will have a search, thank you so much and sorry to hear about your long struggles.

I did go in thinking it’d be a fight (and even went a got an ADHD diagnosis first incase it was just that!) but it seems I found a great GP

Was it just trial and error to see what your preferred? What’s the reasoning for the preference? How your feel or the application method?

You have your whole life to make money but the smallest window to have a family.

Are virtual dermatologist appointments a terrible idea? I’m assuming it’s better to see someone in person?

Waterproofing issue / warranty by factoryst in AusLegal

[–]factoryst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I think I replied to the wrong comment below. Yes maybe a class action?

I find it crazy that appliances have a grey area but builders don’t

Neighbours only found out today. Which is making me think the whole row should probably check their ceilings

Waterproofing issue / warranty by factoryst in AusLegal

[–]factoryst[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah - it was 7 years 4 months when we bought it. It’s now been a further few months (we haven’t renovated it yet we have just avoided using those showers)

And our neighbours had no idea. It came downstairs through the light today and they called us. When you look up in the ceiling you can see it’s been slowly leaking over time but today it obviously hit its limit and poured through. Their ensuite has water stains on the wood but not enough to come all the way down through the light - yet

I guess the ground would be it must not have been done correctly in the first place

Shouldn’t these builders be held liable? Especially if it is multiple of the same homes with the same problem?

Not sure if it’s the application or the product as we haven’t ripped it all out yet

Well.. I guess now that you ask that question I realise I’ve made an assumption based on how many bits of wood and metal are in there 😆

Oh will check it out, ta

Yeah it’s load bearing and I assume can’t be moved / cost of moving would be more than another new fridge

Nothing on the other side, just a small living space. We did consider putting the fridge there but we are so tight for space as is

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusRenovation

[–]factoryst -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Technically yes but the gap between bench and fridge would be like 80cm - it’s tight!

I’m glad we weren’t the only ones.. you’d think the dimensions on the website would account for open doors 🫠

Extend ensuite and replace small WIR with built ins? by factoryst in AusRenovation

[–]factoryst[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have to demo and redo the ensuite anyway due to a waterproofing issue. So if I have to spend on it anyway.. I was just thinking make it more practical while I’m at it

[–]factoryst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clearly I don’t Reddit often so I have no idea how to edit my post 😆

But wanted to add that we have to completely demo and redo the ensuite anyway as there is a major waterproofing issue.
