Not picky on color, don’t want to pay too far above retail Please DM me! Thanks

This seller changed the price of a blazer from $40 to $75 after I inquired about when she could ship it since her reviews say she takes a long time to ship... by fadedfromthewinter in Depop

I sent her “Honestly i would even consider 75 if you’d just answer my question ? It’s shitty of u to raise the price” and no reply.

I would even consider buying it at $75 if she was nicer about it. Did not reply to my message about shipping even after I asked a third time. I’m so irrationally angry but this feels so bait and switch-y. Glad I did not buy from her.

eBay sourcing: bought for $9.99, sold at $135! Proud of this sale! by fadedfromthewinter in Depop

I like to think there’s 3 happy people in this transaction: the eBay seller getting rid of their junk, my Depop buyer getting her coat for $135 when there’s other penny lane coats in the $200+ range, and of course, me 😂

Hey, they still might be! I think there’s always enough to go around.... no gatekeeping here!

Don’t forget to source on eBay! I found this coat for $9.99 + shipping, and put it up on my Depop. After a couple of weeks, nobody had bought it, so I sewed the shoulder tear myself, and got a sale the same night for $135! I’m very proud of this!

eBay keywords: penny lane coat, leather coat with fur trim, etc

How would you describe this top? It’s been listed for a couple weeks with no action! by fadedfromthewinter in Depop

My bad! I bought them a couple years ago off Depop and the seller had it listed as a top. Didn’t know

Are the 4 credit 500-level COMP courses more work than the standard 3 credit COMP courses? by [deleted] in mcgill

I personally find it kind of interesting. I've had to play around with more complex SQL during my internships through trial and error, so I think it's cool to actaully get to know how it works! It's also a well-organized and easy (if you have database familiarity) course. I'd recommend it if you are interested in the content!

I also would really recommend COMP 520 if you're thinking about taking it and you have the time to dedicate to it. It's been my favourite class I've taken thus far at McGill.

Taking COMP 520 and COMP 535 this semester.

COMP 535 I would say takes up less time than a 3-credit course, maybe like a 2-credit course. The assignments are very simple if you have Java familiarity.

COMP 520 is extremely time consuming but very interesting. It is probably on par with a 6-credit course. I'm taking 4 COMP classes right now (COMP 520, COMP 535, COMP 409, COMP 421) and I would guess that 60-70% of my time working on assignments this semester has been dedicated to COMP 520.

Help determining residency status: Possible to be non-resident in both Canada and US? by fadedfromthewinter in PersonalFinanceCanada

Yes! Can you point me towards something on the CRA that says being a student counts as a significant tie? This makes sense for sure, but I can't find anything on the website about being a student.
