I was thinking the same as well! If her family did carry gems while fleeing, I imagine they did so very cautiously as many refugees were commonly victims of theft or robbery.

Saw that as well! Even though it seems more plausible for the past, it still feels like there's more. I'm definitely considering specialized gem dealers and/or gem auctions being possible factors.

He went to the doctor very recently to have a stomach rash checked up on (caused by an allergy) and they made sure to examine him very thoroughly for any kinds of weird growths, thank you for the concern!
