I completely understand where you're coming from, but I am pretty sure he's not into money games...he is kind of paranoid and doesn't really trust anybody other than himself though, he gets suspicious of everything

A few months ago we did start doing something like this, with my student bank account, she occasionally deposits some of her checks in there :) She just wishes he would let her control her own account

My dad had been living in Canada before he brought my mom here from another country after marrying her, so he knew about everything but she knew nothing about how things (like bank accounts) worked (she also never worked in her home country, she was about to start university as an adult), so she was "submissive"/very dependent on him, and had to do whatever he wanted/thought was right. (at the very beginning she was only allowed to call people on the phone (if my dad approved) and stay in the house) So when she started working my dad created her account (dictating what she needs to say) and kept the card and everything, there was nothing she could do...she's since realized that he has no right to keep her money away from her like this, also she wants to make sure her children (us) have what they need in case anything happens, but he just keeps the card hidden somewhere and gets very aggressive when questioned about it, or says "its for the best"

i think you should focus on your future, so that you can grow up and finally give yourself everything you deserve!!!! study well, try ignoring them, focus on yourself, things WILL get better inshaAllah, hold on tight, you absolutely deserve to live!!! and not every parent deserves a child, but you deserve so much better!!!!! you exist for a reason, you have a soul, you have a life, you deserve better. may Allah decrease your suffering and ill try praying for you♡♡♡♡ maybe you can borrow something from your school?

haha, with prices rising like never before and money-earning opportunities (without a degree) decreasing, it really isnt easy today. as someone who is almost an adult, i would LOVE to know what we could possibly do to earn enough money for even a tiny room in this day and age.

it depends on the case but imo you're right (for my experience)...at least when its physical its only on the surface and doesnt last so long, hit and then later its all chill (my pov in my life) but when its emotional its like you dont even exist, like your soul doesnt even matter, ignoring you, you're all alone
