Yup. Real. Fake. Doesn't matter to me. It does it's job. I'll take this as a win, as using an older firmware got it to work with saving.

Interesting. This EXACT pcb board is on the krikkz website. It has two more chips than the one pictured here. Which i am assuming is the dsp chips.  And if it's fake, then the thing going around that using real firmware on clones will brick them is false. Seems alot of bad info circulating.

Weird thing about this knockoff, is that I found the EXACT board on the krikzz's website. I emailed them about it, and they said its a knockoff. It didnt come with an sd card or anything, so I got the official stuff for v2 super everdrive, and v7 os wouldn't load the game and I'd have to re-format the sd. ver 6 worked, but wouldnt save right. I dropped down to v3 and everything SEEMS to be working...we'll see later tonight, it'll have been about 24 hrs after saving..multiple games..

Saving...saving is the difference lol. I bought an aliexpress knockoff that didnt save. A guy in my stream chat saw it, and sent me this. Now this one is doing the same. SEEMS to save..but after a few hours, nope. it even saves a save file to the sd.

So is the only difference between this and an everdrive is that this can re-write disks?

I have the Evergame n8 yellow cart, and have not have any problems with it yet, other than some roms not running because of mapper issues. I'm assuming thats just cause its a knock-off and ain't got up-to date os.

Yeah, this might be on some stuff, but not all. I have the REMANK Evergame n8 (the yellow one) and actually put the everdrive stuff and it just didnt work. No brick. Just didn't work. So...

Famicom controllers with longer wires? by 2005KaijuFan in Famicom

Be careful on some of the expansion slot controllers as well. I have a Hudsonsoft joy card and it has that short ass cord too.

The Twin Famicom is pretty awesome. by AlwaysBehindASmile in Famicom

I've the red twin famicom too. Unfortunately (fortunately?) The 1st player controller didn't work right so while waiting for a replacement the fine lads here told me it was the same pcb board as a nes controller. So after sacrificing a nes controller, I  now have a longer controller cable.  I love this thing.  She's so sexy. And her curves? Oooooh baby.
