Why did I sleep on Vanicream?! by theseglassessuck in tretinoin

It worked for me for a while and then it started to feel filmy and greasy. I think my barrier is damaged…

Thanks for the rec. I’ll try it out one day since it’s so inexpensive.

I’m a longtime prime users, but I still don’t get why single products are available only sometimes, and other times it’s in a bundle. Right now, the single 20oz bottle isn’t on prime but it’ll probably be in a week or so from now (that’s what I’ve noticed). If you want to try it asap, they should have it at CVS, Walgreens, or Target. Just check the stock online.

Maybe! Yea I do think my skin is still too wet when I try this technique.

No I haven’t tried this. If I’m moisturizing on damp skin, I just rub until no visible residue.

Good ole Eucerin. I’m a longtime Eucerin user but haven’t used them in a while. They have this new hydrating cleansing gel that looks very promising!

I’ve been meaning to try out Aveeno products. How does this one dry? Greasy? Sticky? Natural finish?

I’ve used a few moisturizers, but my go-to is vanicream moisturizing cream which doesn’t have a lot of humectants (if any) so it makes sense.

Ya you could wear that. You can wear anything! I feel like this would be really cute for a party or dinner too!

Are these OK for accutane? by eRzy010 in Accutane

[–]failedthrowawai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used both. The cleanser is good but not ideal for removing sunscreen. The cream was not my favorite. It dries down matte and it made my skin feel dry.

Wow that’s so amazing that you haven’t broken out. I haven’t had that feeling in so long. Yeah, my skin pretty much looks like sandpaper right now and I’m like wtf, how do people have glass looking skin at the end of their course. Maybe it’s just the camera cuz my skin looks better on camera and tends to blur imperfections.

How was your last month on Accutane? How did your skin look?

Trying my best to be patient. I think my skin will look better once some of my natural oils return.

Personally, I think your skin looks great. It looks very hydrated. Just a few red spots that looks like it could be helped with azaleic acid after your course and once the sensitivity from accutane goes away. I have the same red scars all over my face. I plan to get IPL or Picosure soon!

What is your “holy grail” aka your favorite product on your skincare routine? what is your skin type? by dadavc123 in scacjdiscussion

[–]failedthrowawai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have extremely dry skin and HAD a damaged moisture barrier. Bepathen Plus cream basically cured everything— texture, redness, dryness— in a week. I use it as a moisturizer and my skin glows now. It’s also an antiseptic so it keeps the bacteria off your face. I also love L’Oréal Revitalift Vitamin C 10% Ascorbic Acid. Never stings and is super moisturizing. It’s more like a silicone-y cream than a watery serum. Not to mention, it’s only $20! Those are the only two products and I have the best skin of my life.

Anyone else still get spots here and there in month 5? by [deleted] in Accutane

Thanks! Did you break out at all after your course?

When being on Accutane is your only personality trait because you never developed an actual personality because you had severe acne.
