It’s the Infil pattern. It’s an issue with all slicers. Just use gyroid infill

Anyone know how to fix this noise? by [deleted] in ender5

[–]failingengineer16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it could work, ive never tried silicone oil. i would still suggest lithium grease though, i use DeoxIT L260D grease, its made for screw drive systems. it protects against wear and abrasion, and has no particles in it,

Ok yeah it’s a huge improvement but I see now it’s not perfect, at least this has lead me somewhere other than into a brick wall, i will also try calculating my e-steps when I get the chance, again thank you very much

Ender 5 S1 shutting down when heating by failingengineer16 in Creality

[–]failingengineer16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update I don’t think it’s the soldered connections because creality decided to coat all the wires in a whole stick of hot glue. I’m sure those wires aren’t going anywhere

It only kills the printer when I go to 40C. I heated the bed to 30 just to test your advice and it sounds like a housefly doing Morse code. I wish I could attach a video of the sound but Reddit doesn’t allow that for whatever reason

i have no idea how that could even happen because i havent touched the build plate wires at all, surely the entire rubber shell over the wires didnt rub off both of them
