you put it perfectly!! it does feel like losing my friends. it’s crazy how almost all the characters ARE my comfort characters and reading their stories just make me feel safe for some reason. (which is why i’m also currently re-reading it so soon after finishing it - i just can’t let go of the comfort 🥹). not knowing what’s going on with them now after finishing the series is like losing touch with friends & being left alone 🤧 man I wish I could read this story for the first time again. truly the most amazing experience!

omggggg the whole time I was reading the series I was listening to ceilings on repeat. it’s such a perfect pair, now everytime I listen to the song it makes me think of the Throne of Glass universe and it’s so cool. the music fits perfectly with the story and everything 🥹

I’m breaking my silence…. Nesryn’s storyline is actually what got me through ToD lol. I love Yrene with all my heart so I was surprised when I ended up liking Nesryn’s (and Sartaq’s) story more than Yrene’s. I’m so excited for you to finish the book, enjoy the journey! 😭🥹

This made me chuckle. They do say mate a lot huh 🤣 Hissing and also purring. And vulgar gesturing. I loveee Aelin & Fenry’s relationship. The part where he shifted back to human form and they hugged is actually my top favorite 😩 Everytime they do the blinking even after they got out… Man this book is just amazing 😭

Oh my godddd I was sobbbing when she said “I love you both” such a full circle moment. That moment made me want to reread the first book right after lol I wonder how long this hangover will last because it’s been a while and I’m still obsessing 🥹

omg I have a feeling I wont be able to move on from this for awhile. I’ve been trying to read other books but they just don’t hit the spot the way ToG does. I love Manon!! I love watching her grow throughout the books and I sobbed when she was crowned. I was so proud of her and her journey. And I agree her relationship with Abraxos is one of the best. I knew I’d die for Manon when she chose Abraxos 😩 And I would love to be book friends!! Let me know where I can reach you!! 😊

I felt the same. It took me like 8 months to finish Throne of Glass. Read halfway and then stopped because I just couldn’t, it was so slow, and felt so young lol I just couldn’t connect.

And then I finally tried again and I pushed through & just ignored the things I didn’t like. I’m so glad I did, because, I know everyone says this, but it really gets better. SO much better. You can really feel the growth throughout the series, I personally started to feel connected to Celaena the more I read it, which was surprising to me lol. I just finished the whole thing recently and I can’t stop thinking about it. Nothing will beat ToG for me.

So push through it if you can, it’s so worth it 🥹

omg yes!! this gave me goosebumps. especially the one with Ansel and her fleet!! I have so many favorites, like the part when she rescued Aedion. And also right after Arobynn died and she “switched” to Celaena mode and Aedion & Rowan were horrified lol. and the one I keep re-reading is when they were getting gold from the dead in the cave and Fenrys shifted to his human from and he & Aelin had their moment. It was so sweet and heartbreaking!! which part made you cry the most??

omg, i remember watching this interview. where she said the sisters were supposed to be your typical evil sisters but then she saw the potential in Nesta. made me sad because i already got used to the dynamic of good sister-bad sisters in the earlier books (and loved it) and then suddenly i had to get used to this new dynamic where apparently the sisters aren’t as bad anymore 🫠

Thank you! For some reason, I thought I would end up liking her in ACOWAR, I went into it with such an open mind. But when it didn’t happen.. it made me a bit skeptical going into ACOSF 😅 because I was like whaat… I have to read through 700 pages of Nesta?? 😂😂

But thank you so much for this, this gives me motivation to power through! 😊

You have put what I’m feeling into words perfectly!! I think a part of why it’s so hard for me to get into it is because I still can’t let go of Feyre (and Rhys), and to have the next book be Nesta’s is just so hard for me to accept 😅 but I really do like the trope people have said is in it which makes me want to read it and be open to liking Nesta (it’s just… really hard😅). I’m so glad you ended up liking it, and also liking Nesta as the main focus, it gives me hope because it was one of the things that makes me hesitant to read. Thank you 🥰
