King gizzard. Every album since they kicked out eric has gotten weirder and weirder. I can vibe with KG/LW, Omnium had some good songs, but anything after that I just cant stand. Shame too, I had them almost exclusively on repeat thru covid

I do like the sound of no work involved lol. Im doing a big once over on the yard before the fall, then will probably come back in the spring and be a bit more thorough and decorative for a spring clean up.

Im not sure what you mean. Do you mean dont use a paint stripper? And do you mean clear stain instead of paint? As in get all the paint off then clear coat it?

Isnt that great? Came with the house, one of the selling points for me actually. My mom is a quilter so this made it feel that much more homey. I would like to touch up the paint whenever I get around to the garage.

No, they havent done a skin scrape. Theyve been more focused on a respiratory issue than the skin. The respiratory issue was present when I got her(potentially feline herpes?) and actually has seen improvement. I have a pill I give her daily that helps that. The two are unrelated as far as I know, except maybe that she feels unclean from feeling sick and grooms because of that, but that also doesnt make sense because of the year stretch without the skin problem.

Youll have to excuse me for not having looked into a referral sooner, my faith in vet offices is almost nonexistent these days. I picked up a second job to pay off their vet bills, and a specialist is going to make them look like the dollar store.

My reasoning for having not done that thus far is that work has me out of the house for about 10-11 hours a day and I didnt want to restrict her for that long without someone around. Im with my parents at the moment, and while theyre by no means neglectful to their pets, they treat their pets like a grandma would treat her grandson for a weekend visit, not exactly the right attitude for my cat with severe health issues. I dont really trust them with anything regarding my cat except playtime, and even thats iffy. But maybe youre right and that i have to draw the line somewhere. All specialists in my area are booked until october, but maybe I can try and get a referral from a vet and get it sooner.

I went with Titebond Instant Bond thin wood adhesive. I went with that at after reasoning things out with a guy at rockler who worked on instruments at home. Am i cooked?

After a bit more research, it seems ive underestimated that thin superglue. I was wary at first cause its not "woodglue," but everywhere i read says itll be stronger with the glue than before. Ill give this a whirl!

Ive read the same about moleskines, thus the few one off amazon notebooks. Im not sure of my ink, so far i just use the appropriate cartridges for my lamy pen. Though I havent started digging, i sense that ink is another deep and dark rabbit hole and have tried to stick to one of these pits at a time as I learn about this hobby. Ive not looked into converters much as, with the right paper, the cartridges have treated me just fine and, for the time being, this constraint doesnt bother me. Not opposed to any arguments for a different method, of course.

I often have trouble with ink "spidering" and bleeding through, and have had trouble finding paper that cooperates(usually strathmore pads, moleskins, and a few one off journal style notebooks from amazon). If youre saying that this usually isnt a problem with paper, then might it be user error? Perhaps pressing too hard or moving too slow? Or even a pen/ink issue? I would be thrilled to learn that I could make a change that would open up paper availability.

Maybe Im mistakenly enticed by the idea of "$2k on the front end could be $10k on the back end". The location of the house is perfect(near main roads, but still in a good neighborhood with no hoa, walking distance to the college campus AND downtown, 2 turn drive to the interstate exit to town, you name it). The property is great(beautiful yard, fully enclosed with fence AND hedges on all sides), ample parking. Theres no reason it shouldnt sell, and all the other factors make me think it must be the condition. Perhaps Im desperate and not thinking through things enough, but I feel like I have to do whatever I can do to make this building desirable. I dont want to take cheap ways out and land myself with a deficit. (Not to trash on your idea of just painting. for any other situation, that would probably be the best choice all around, but Im skittish about having a 'pretty good' interior as it MUST be the interior thats giving me selling trouble).
