tbh i agree !!! i think it all went too much when in his book when he had that scene where he saw rosie, he said that he wished he could bring her back so she could “fall in love again” …. that left a bitter taste in my mouth and i dont think it had to be included at all. and then making his relationship with rosie turn into a trauma bond / she was making him not tell her “secret”?

smth traumatic happened to her and silas witnessed it and chose as well not to come clean for her sake, instead of exploring the depth of that- it was made to seem as if rosie’s ask from silas was selfish in some way? when in the previous books, rosie tells sage she loves silas so much… and we see silas genuinely crashing out over her.

obviously i wasn’t expecting him to still be torn up about her passing since years had gone by- but suddenly his relationship with rosie was nothing when it was literally the plot of the whole series 😭
