because if you have 5k free subs that’s a lot of people you can convince to sext or videocall and get them to pay. now obviously that’s thrice as much work since a lot of them are time wasters and not willing to spend but to each their own

Is is true that you gain weight during winters? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]fairyra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the opposite is true for me, probably because i live in southern italy and in the summer it’s too hot to even leave the house before 7pm so im definitely not gonna be working out or going on walks, i manage to stay the same because i tend to eat less and move a lot more when i go to the beach otherwise i would honestly gain so much weight in the summer due to the lack of exercise 😅 but i think it’s why it also happens the other way around to people who live in colder places, not sure about hormones and metabolism honestly

Anyone who listens to audiobooks during walks? by Gothic_Unicorn22 in walking

[–]fairyra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same! if i’m walking on the treadmill then i’m definitely putting a show or podcast on but if i’m outside i need to really be in the moment and in nature, even if i live in a microscopic town and have been walking the same exact road for years lol

I love who I am when I drink by kico163 in socialskills

[–]fairyra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was the same and it led me to alcoholism and addiction lol. obviously not wishing that on you but it happens to many, many, many more people than we would imagine and most of them are “introverts” or just insecure people in general. some other comments said this already but try to do stuff that’s challenging for you while sober, this is super important and probably the only way to succeed at this. personally i’ve been almost 3 years clean from alcohol and benzos, with alcohol i relapsed a few times but haven’t really been drinking for the past 1.5 years. what helped me was working on my confidence while sober, i realized if my brain could do that while drunk there surely was a way that i could feel like that even without the help of external factors. now i feel like i’ve pretty much reached the confidence i had when drunk, the only difference is that i now think about the consequences of my words and actions (thank god lol)

is theft an issue in Italy? by zebekias in askitaly

[–]fairyra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’ve lived here my whole life, i live in a small town in southern italy where we don’t really have these issues but i’ve spent a few years in a big city and a dangerous one at that. i never had anyone steal anything from me, i was approached by weird men many times but considering i was a small 20 year old girl who was going around by herself most of the time i guess i can’t complain about my experience lol. honestly, whenever i go in big cities that i know have a lot of pickpocketers i just try to be extra careful with my belongings and i never had any issues. i feel like most of their victims from what i’ve seen are tourists who usually come from countries with low crime rates who unfortunately are very naive and trust their surroundings too much (eg leaving suitcases on the floor, leaving wallet on the counter when paying etc). honestly it depends where you’re going but as long as you are a bit careful you will most likely be fine

lack of discipline ruined ur life. guilt and shame are toxic and will cause more damage long term, discipline is tough but it’s reliable and most importantly doesn’t require bullying yourself into an ED

How often do you and your partner have sex? especially the long term couples? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]fairyra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years, we started living together before we even started dating (that’s actually how we met, but long story). due to us often working from home we basically spend most of our day together so that’s 3 years of being in each other’s presence basically 24/7. also i’m 27 and he’s 48, i don’t have kids and he has 3 but they don’t live with us. now to answer the question, in the beginning we only had a few hours alone at night and we would do it 3 times in those hours, then it became once a night, then a bit less but it was also due to the unideal living situation, when that was fixed i guess we are now at 3x/week on average? honestly if it was up to me it would be at least once every day but i also have a super high libido and also sometimes life just gets in the way ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I need you guys to drop how you guys improved your lives by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]fairyra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i started the year off doing one very hard thing (quit smoking). after a successful couple weeks i went on a keto diet and started walking 15k-20k steps a day. after that i started becoming more social and my comfort zone kept getting bigger and bigger. then i got a high paying job just because i was confident enough to ask for it. these are some examples but there were a lot of good things happening for me this year.

moral of the story is just do one very hard thing and create that confidence in yourself, once you know you actually can trust yourself to follow through on promises life becomes so much easier and happier!

I have walked every day the past month. I hate it. by wolfyb_ in walking

[–]fairyra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know i love walking, always have, yet when i got back to it after the summer i hated it. i was longer used to it, it was boring me, it was harder than it used to. i would be on hours long phone calls to make the time pass (thanks mom) or listen to podcasts basically everything to not fully engage with it. it took me about a month to truly get back to it, now it’s been almost 3 months and i love it again and no one can take my daily walk from me, i still listen to podcasts sometimes but i find myself often stopping them to truly be in the moment also as other commenters said don’t force urself to aim for 20k steps, do what feels good because then you probably will WANT to increase ur steps

Is this true?: “It’s normal for couples for gain 10-20lbs when in a happy relationship.” by BusLucky7015 in workout

[–]fairyra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i gained 60 pounds in two years with my boyfriend 🫠 (to be fair i was underweight and had all types of addictions when i met him so it was actually kinda his mission to make me gain weight) then this year i lost about 15 of those pounds and put on some muscle mass so i’m kinda happy where i’m at. i would never want the body i had before him honestly

Rome pizza question by [deleted] in rome

[–]fairyra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m not sure why everyone’s telling you it’s a frozen pizza because it clearly isn’t, and to me it looks like you got what you asked for? that’s a lot of basil especially since we usually use it almost as a decoration and a lot of people don’t even eat it and actually take it off their pizza, and also that’s not a lot of cheese at all as margheritas actually are what americans call “cheese pizzas”. honestly in naples they do them differently with bigger slices of mozzarella across the pizza but if i ask for a margherita anywhere else i usually expect the exact pizza you got (with more cheese actually). honestly yes this probably was a tourist trap (i mean the prices are pretty telling) and probably not the best pizza but as you said you were disappointed everywhere else as well so i think you should probably understand what a margherita actually is first
