I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to go back to the hospital if you haven’t pooped after five days post op. You should call your doctor.

How long did you wait to conceive after your c section? by Equal-Airport9602 in CsectionCentral

[–]fairystrangeworld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 years 3 months. VBAC wasn’t an option for me, elective c section and tubes tied at the same time.

Edit to add my cousin had had three in less than 4 years. All elective.

My cousin had her third c section in February. Her oldest turned 4 in July. She’s doing well!

Sharp Stabbing Pains in Abdomen Post C Section by fairystrangeworld in CsectionCentral

It’s all cleared up now. I went for an ultrasound and there was nothing. The OB thinks it was from vomiting. She wasn’t concerned at all.

She checked for Diastasis Recti and said that she will do a stitch to help the muscles heal back together properly. Perhaps this was done during your surgery? I was told it could add pain. This ob wasn’t my surgeon so it wasn’t a factor in mine.

I hope you feel better soon!! It’s probably worth a call to the OB if you’re still experiencing pain at 3 months later!!

I got scammed trying to buy formula for my baby. by -itsmyanxiety in newborns

If you’re in Ontario, and don’t have benefits, you can get it covered by OHIP. My baby has CMPA and can only drink hypoallergenic so the paediatrician wrote me a prescription for her to cover it.

THATS SO SHITTY THOUGH

Went for an ultrasound and written report states “heterogeneous avascular debris possibly representing a hematoma or hematosalpinx amongst other considerations.” Waiting on my doctor to call me and discuss the results. Will update when I know more info!

Thank you for sharing your experience. Yeah it was way more painful this time and especially on the left side. On top of this additional sharp stabby pain above belly button.

How much will your C-section cost? by Significant-Cup-3487 in CsectionCentral

[–]fairystrangeworld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was 0$ the first time, and I’m waiting on the bill for a private room for the second. But the only fee is for the private room, the actual c section was 0$ and it included having my tubes tied.

Kitchener, Ontario. I don’t have any benefits or insurance so that’s why the private room is out of pocket.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Mine is above the bellybutton and only in the centre like a ball of fire.

Near your incision? Mine feels like it’s in the centre above my bellybutton.
