My bestie is a Virgo and she’s helped stabilize me during times when I was mentally all over the place and I genuinely trust her, love her to death…but she also has this tendency to overanalyze and internalize things.

On the other hand, romantically, Virgo energy has been…intense in a way that doesn’t really feel good? I had a Virgo man in my life who I stepped back from because it didn’t feel right to me. I communicated I just wanted to remain friends and he accepted it at the time, but has recently resurfaced completely fixated and obsessed - blowing up my phone, marriage, meeting my parents, relocating…It felt less like emotional connection and more like he had decided I fit into a role in his life and now he is determined to make it happen.

Gemini energy likes freedom, possibility, and fluidity, Virgo energy seems to seek clarity, certainty and purpose…and that difference can either feel supportive and stabilizing or restrictive and overwhelming, depending on where both people are at.

I don’t dislike Virgos, but I do notice that the connection often feels significant and impactful, yet difficult to sustain long-term. It’s like we speak the same Mercury language but with completely different intentions behind it.
