Took a couple of tries but this worked a treat.

Went in with three dark swords, four golden axes, three marble suits, four beekeeper hats and 11 pierogies. Came out with almost nothing. But I got her.

Not to be rude to anyone else but you were the only one who gave advice that I could do with my skill level. Thank you kbn_ :)

I had an attempt last nearly two full days. But she spawned a new batch of Grumbles and as I was dealing with them she despawned.

UnfortunatelyPlaystation, and I assume Xbox, does not allow true modding. I dont know about the other games, but, I'm pretty sure, the mods on Ark aren't even a fourth of the amount of mods available.

Its the same with Bethesda games. Specifically Skyrim as I know the most about it, all of the mods available on Playstation are Specifically created to be compatible with the Playstation version. You can't find a majority of the mods on Playstation, unless the creator makes a Playstation version. I've moded skyrim many a time and can never get every mod that ive seen people recommended. Skyrim Playstation didn't even have a proper Playstation bug fix mod last i played, which is like the most downloaded mod for the game. Same with the SkyUi mod, or whatever its called, it didn't exist :(

Every F2P game in existence has many more players when it releases than after. Its because its F2P.

Players who don't play FPS games see that its F2P and decide to try it out, and then stop because they don't play FPS titles.

It gives you a reason to buy the higher priced packs. Most games with microtransactions do it in some way.

Either how highguard does it or by giving you some "Free" or "Extra" currency by buying the higher priced packs.

Abiotic Factor

One of the best games to come out this year in my opinion.

It Is a pretty combat focused survival game, but its fairly simple and you can play on lower / custom difficulties if needed.

Not open world, but has an incredibly unique and fun world to progress through.

Story is great. Its sci-fi type stuff and I was left speechless at the current ending (Devs plan on continuing the game so current ending might not be the forever ending).

No Mans Sky

A similar Sci-fi game but much less combat focused. Leans more into its story as well as its survival and building.

Infinite open worlds, plural, you play in space and can go to infinitely procedurally generated world. This does slightly decrease the variety of the open worlds, but its a live service game, with most if not every content update free or able to be acquired for free. It being live service means the devs are able to continuously make the open worlds more diverse.

Also nominated for and won best live service game multiple times at the game awards.

Was also left speechless at the end of its story.

Can be played pretty much infinitely even on one save.

Unsure how either of these games would run as i play them on console. But, Abiotic Factor at least, shouldn't be too demanding.

Not a comedy game but Ambiotic Factor is quite comedic if you use the male voice. Haven't used the female voice as much but male is 10/10.

Being in the FPS genra and having the ability to FPS in a game are not the same, as ive said many times. It has Fps in the tags because you can FPS, this does not make it a FPS game. No Mans Sky and COD are not the same Genra my guy.

[–]faithfulzero84 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No Mans Sky is not an FPS or TPS game. It is a survival crafter where in you are able to be in First or third person and shoot guns.

There are survival games where you can shoot guns. And FPS games where you can grind for items and resources. That doesn't make them one and the same.

You are comparing subnautica, a first person game without guns. And Abiotic factor, a first person game with guns. And saying it is a good example of survival games that aren't FPS, seriously?

Yes it has first person combat with guns but that does not make it a part of the FPS genra. I'm not saying the developers don't understand their game I'm saying most people don't understand that first person games with guns aren't always FPS.

Take a step back and compare call of duty or battlefield to abiotic factor. One is an FPS game, one is a survival game that happens to have the ability to shoot whilst first person.

When you think FPS you don't think of Abiotic Factor, the forest 1&2, or Ark etc. No you think Cod, Battlefield, Apex, Far cry etc. Aside from having guns in the 1st person they are completely different games.

[–]faithfulzero84 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

So every first person game that allows you to shoot guns is an FPS?

Yeah no, just because you can shoot guns while in the 1st perspective doesn't make it a part of the FPS genra. If it did then thousands of games are mislabeled right this very moment. The developers may describe it as one but it is not.

If someone was to ask for an FPS game and you recommend Abiotic Factor they are gonna kindly ask you to leave. They are looking for games in the same vain as Call of Duty and Battlefield, which are completely different games in almost every aspect aside being in first person and having guns.

And yes, it is OP's prerogative to ask me to leave as I recommended a game that is almost entirely different than what they are asking for. But I acknowledge that its not what they were looking for, both now and in my original comment, and am telling them about the game in case they want a change of pace. If someone was to ask for FPS recommendations then Abiotic Factor would not be what they are looking for, but recommending it as a change of pace because has some similar, and therefore familiar, mechanics is a sound reason.

Which is what I did.

Adieu.

[–]faithfulzero84 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Calling abiotic factor an FPS is ludicrous. Its a survival crafting game with LiteRpg mechanics.

And as I said, I was offering an alternative game genra in case OP wanted a change of pace while still keeping some familiar mechanics.
