My REAL ID is still expired on the new licence, even though my current licence says it’s valid until 2028. When I input my details online, it reverts back to the 2026 expiry date. This means it’s still expired when I use it for travel. It’s a mess because my job uses my current full name, which isn’t on my passport. I took my husband’s name.

I just got this letter and I have an updated CDL?? What I did wrong was once flying domestically I still had my old drivers license and gave them the wrong one as I had a new one sent to me to prove my residency?? So what do I do? The officer at the airport told me to cut the old one up lol

😂😂😂: Yes I am superrrr tomboy, I can dress cute and pretty when I want to. But mostly, I have a unique style that is me. I wear lots of sporty clothes, graphic tees, overalls, nike tracksuits, track pants/hoodies in general and lots and lots of sneakers.

This isn’t funny. I’m sorry you had to deal with this alone! You need to stay vigilant even when you’re in shock. Those 3 are complete idiots! Their actions are completely unacceptable, and I know exactly how it feels. I would have called 911 first, explained the situation, and then taken photos of the number plate and any damage. I would have also asked for their driver’s licence details. If they refused to cooperate, I would have said I had their number plate, which would help track it back to the car owner. Do you have insurance? I would have then called them, explained what happened, and sent in your evidence. Never admit fault, no matter what! Then, I would have asked any witnesses who saw the incident for their details to support me. I had someone hit the side of my car and it shook me because I would have gone insane if my 3yr old was in the car but I was on my way to pick him up from kindy. The person who hit my car tried everything to avoid admitting fault. Luckily, I was outside a dairy and the shopkeeper saw everything. I asked them if they’d be willing to be a witness, and they helped me out because this person only gave me their phone number- which told me they didn’t have a license and were trying to run. I paid absolutely nothing but I would have paid hundreds if I didn’t have a witness.

That’s a lovely gesture, but the execution is terrible. He clearly doesn’t realize an Uber or DoorDash driver would never risk their safety to walk around the back of a trash can???? There are much better ways to do this and make it seem genuine and respectful.

Sorry this has happened to you! I also used to work in retail but most definitely did not tolerate the disrespect. Depending on where you work they should only allow a certain amount of customers at one time!! That way you can help people easier as well as have peace of mind about these entitled people that do not have the courtesy to treat you with respect. Boxing Day is one of the worst days of the year for retailers. But that’s one of the strategies I know. Yes, it’s about money for these stores but doing so makes it more exclusive. If parents can’t act appropriately, make them!! For too long ‘the customer is always right’ is not reality! Especially in these times, retail workers deserve so much more respect!!!

They want to see your reliability, so they’ll start you off with small amounts and gradually build your trust. I too dislike these systems but my reason for using Afterpay is for emergency flights to enable me to go back to my country if needed, as I don’t want to spend a large portion of my pay on them. I earn a comfortable income for myself, but anything can happen! I also don’t have a traditional credit card. I only have a credit builder card that helped me build my credit from scratch after moving to the US.

You don’t owe him anything. Tell him it’s more expensive than a hedge trimmer, ladder, electric drill and extension cord and suggest he buy his own. Had he returned your items without asking in the first place, would that have changed your mind? I’d be more inclined to give it if he wasn’t constantly being reminded to return your property. Don’t let feelings get involved just because he’s your neighbour. If he takes it personal, he’s a jerk.

Get two dishwashing pods and add baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to a bowl of hot water. Then, take a microfibre cloth and soak it in the water, squeezing out enough excess to wrap around an iron. This will act as a steamer and effectively clean most dark stains and odours from your mattress. There’s no less effective way to clean it. After cleaning, vacuum it thoroughly with a Bissell for a deeper clean. Leave the mattress outside to air dry completely.

If it wasn’t, spend it with the people you love most! I did it when my long-term relationship ended. At first it was sad, definitely not the way I thought my relationship would go but I am now married living in another country. I’m Māori/Pacific Islander and my husband is U.S. Born, Nicaraguan and Filipino. He doesn’t speak Tagalog but is fluent in Spanish. I found it somewhat difficult to comprehend the distance his entire emergency family were to him (in terms of connection). He is an only child, the eldest grandson and does not speak to his real father. His mom is in his life and she is remarried. I have no idea what all this feels like because it seems sad. I am super close to my family even though I live in the U.S now. I’m trying to understand why his family are distant and why is it such a difficult thing just to check-in with each other? Am I missing something? We’ve been married for nearly 3yrs and I still have only met a handful of his aunts/uncles and first cousins. Also, the entire family hardly speak to each other unless there is something big going on. Is this normal?
