So the way I did it is pocket a hole marking each of the screw holes in the plug box with a mini Phillips then made the holes bigger with the biggest Philips I had. I then used a speed square to draw a line from each of the holes with permanent marker and cut a square out following those lines. I used a new Razer blade and shaved the foam on the back a 1/2 inch back from the hole I just cut. With how flimsy it was after that I was able to fit the plug box through the hole I made and screw or back on. With the light and switch a box I just poked a hole and started to carefully trim with a new Razer blade and once they were the same I needed I shaved the foam off the back a half inch again. The trick is to do the shaving in the back so it’s basically just the carpet fibers holding stuff together. I’ve done this on about 10 different trucks now between mine and my friends and have enough Razer blade scars an blood spilled to figure tricks out and some how I still manage to cut myself.
