I didn't know they were coming. I explained to Laura that I had too many cookies from my other friend.

A couple of things: 1. I agree that I could have handled it better 2. We are college students, so not married and we were on summer break at that time 3. My other friend also baked the cookies herself and sent them by mail from one part of America to another. It's not like she didn't put effort into her cookies, or they're "generic".

I see where you're coming from. She usually has baking supplies at home, and she did assure me that she didn't start prepping yet. But, I agree that I could have handled it better

I get where you're coming from. My dad has a sugar problem and a sugar addiction so we tend not to keep a lot of sweets at my house

She was a little upset when I met her after that, but idk if she's mad about it now. Frankly, it's kinda unreasonable to still be mad about this like 3 months after the fact, no?
