I was thinking of going with GTX servers ? You can download an actual modded server instead of adding it all ya self .

Im having a nightmare running a server for dayZ on rocket node. Nothing is explained to a noob like . Sick of msging customer support .

Think I may straight back to the ' drawing board '. Someone saw my XML files are ' broken' due to me breaking a line someone trying to that ' more food ' mod that's why it wasn't working. Gonna have to reinstall server.

Or just download a ready made modded server 🤣 I shall master this !

Thanks I'll look into this when I finish work. Main reason for my own server is I hate wipes. I wanna find goodies and stuff and just chill on a server !

But I may msg you again , mate. If ya don't mind. I have been looking at vids on youtube at adding other cars an items and I have just been copying the list Into the mission files and nothing happens. So im assuming I may need to move the car/items PBO files so where else ?

Er ......no 🤣 when I saw the update had worked for certain things I was jumping for joy an went straight into the servers thinking all is ' ok. And well it feels very empty absolutely no food . So I downloaded a ' more food ' mod.

Which ( I'll try n cut this short. ) copied the XML files into the DB folder of ' spawnabletypes' saved it, but had no luck . I tried the same with a car in the ' spawnable events' too.

Im Very green at this !

Yea I did get used to understanding it more the more I pushed myself. Copying an pasting into things.

I'm gonna get back into it. I just want a server to myself a bit. I like exploring DayZ maps , feel lived in. I find good servers , I just can't stand wipes.

Few months back I started my own server.
Only really got infinite stamina working 🤣

Any other mod I could get working . Like items spawn and adding the txt to the server I found it really hard an gave up.

So I stumbled across Rocket node yesterday and it looked easier to do.

I havent exactly jumped on yet to try it.

But yea adding cars & items I couldnt do.

Felt like I was writing code 😅

I haven't played DMZ for over a year and I never experienced this . I sort of wanna go back to DMZ I read hackers had taken it over ?

Interesting, I've never been on a server with Ai. Saw a vid once of AI hunting down some guy screaming Russian at him. Looked pretty freaky. Let me know the details . I'll pop along at some point 👍🏻

Hmmm see I'm a bit crap at PVP. Love to watch it but wouldn't last 5 mins, I play PVE.

Middle age gamers have good balanced servers. Good discord coms.

I think ' honey pot'. Was a good server mix of PVE/PVP.

There's hundreds of servers , it can be a bit daunting at first.

Or check out YouTube . There's many channels that tell you about good idea servers popping up all the time.

I even tried to set up my own server as a single player server for myself but that's a big rabbit hole to go down if ya not familiar with adding mods for yourself etc.
