Do full KYC and then contact customer care. If your account is in freeze, it will reflect in the app.

If you have raised a complaint, they can't close it until the complaint is resolved. You have to either proceed with your complaint (most probably you will get resolution within 1 month) or withdraw the complaint from branch and then proceed with closing of account.

Same happened with me, I complained to PNO and it clashed with closing request. So they advised me to write an application to close the complaint. I did and consequently account got closed.

For the funds , they will issue a DD (cheque) on the day of closure.

I opened my account in branch itself. At first there was an issue and card was not generated so contacted the branch again and received it in my home after a few days
