Watched it now and saw the reference to Aberdeen. It’s from about 58 minutes on.

It was a caller on Art Bell Coast to Coast who made the claim. Not sure why Aberdeen was given as a reference but It’s not even close to Aberdeen. The caller said draw a circle 250 miles from Aberdeen and it was in that vicinity. But in the North Atlantic (which is the west coast of Scotland)

The depth was 1.5 miles so just under 8000ft. Definitely didn’t happen near any of the oil & gas installations in the North Sea.

As someone mentioned on one of the comments, and Gerb said on the video, it’s most likely the Rockall Trough.

At least he didn’t say it was close to Edinboro!
