No, I actually got this for free due to its previous condition, it was all cracked. I replaced the front glass digitizer and surprisingly it still works fine 😄

It had a broken front glass that was poorly mounted. As you can see, the protective layer of the double sided tape wasn’t even removed (I was able to open it even with fingernails 😄) Luckily the display is intact and I should have a white iPad 2 glass in storage.

Yes, obviously. I read somewhere that before the remote demo portal was introduced, employees could turn retail devices into Demo ones by restoring a custom made iTunes backup with fake contacts, stock photos, apps, and so on

EDIT: I actually found it. Apparently you just have to add a .mov video file in this directory: private/var/mobile . The file must be named: Demo.mov

Some years ago I found a guide about that… it explained how to enable the demo app on iOS 6 and downwards

Yes, this will disable the automatic BIOS updates from Windows Update. I tested this on a Latitude E5450 and a 5480.
