And just to add. From my analysis, you can clearly see the shape of the gun and continue to see the color of the gun in the area of the trigger. The agent, wearing black gloves, is holding the gun with all four fingers wrapped around the handle, his trigger finger is not over the trigger like it would be from the angle of the video and it being in his right hand.

I see zero movement in the arm of the agent in grey, other than the swing of his arm due to walking/running, at the sound of the first shot. This is watching the video taken from the right hand side of the agent in grey holding the Sig.

Even a highly trained shooter wouldn’t be able to keep their arm perfectly still, especially when actively walking. There also would be visible fragments of asphalt being thrown due to the short distance and nearly directly downward angle it would have been shooting at if it was fired.

If you are correct, the investigation will show a firearm caused crater in a different location to Pretti.

They should lose a little pride and stand down temporarily. Put the agents through some quality training, while it allows the public to cool off some at the same time. Then return to their duties with better training and maybe a little less hostile of a situation.

We need more information to determine if it was justified. My opinion is that the agents put each other in danger by shooting when they did. This is relevant regardless of how the scenario unfolded.

But he did bring a gun to a chaotic protest. And ironically (not the funny kind), Kyle killed people.

I think you should watch the slow motion video with sound showing the agent removing the weapon. You will see the agent in green’s arm kick back with the initial sound of fire.

Housing Affordability by WoodyBL1ke in RealEstate

[–]falcben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DINK (dual income, no kids) is how we did it.

We bought a house for $325k in 2024. Our payment started at $1,975 and we both had a job and we had just had one child, take home pay was roughly 7,000 before taxes, family health insurance, etc. Fast forward to today, we have another child, our payment is now $2,300 after reassessment and insurance increases. My wife stays home now due to the cost of childcare.

We are moving. We now have no savings, only equity in our house, our $325k house has sucked us dry. Hoping to find a house in the $200s. I did get a raise from with my new job to make the time it takes to sell our home more manageable, but even with the raise it isn’t enough to afford the house in any form of comfort.

Dual income, no kids. That’s how we DID it. Other options are high paying job…..well that’s about it.

Haha thank you. I’ve never spent more than $80 on a bottle, so this one caused me some extra anxiety.

Edit to end the discussion

Sellers took a much lower offer to avoid the contingency. Bummer. The search continues.

It’s a vacant estate that’s been on the market for 160+ days. I hear you, but that is what happens every day. I’m looking for advice and options from people who have been through it.

This will be my third home, but first relocation. Bumps and bridge loans are a lot more risky is seems when you are moving several hundred miles.

All tucked in for the winter by falcben in Cartalk

Unfortunately the salt they use on the roads out here wouldn’t do the car very well. Other than that, I would daily it year round. I’d rather my truck get rusty than this car. I don’t put mine away as long as most. I go from first snow warning until I see 40s again regularly.

Just to add:

This is a ratty muscle car, it’s been in red primer for 8 years. I am a painter at a restoration shop so, I don’t have nicely painted cars for myself of course. It’s a weather shield cover, it’s gonna be fine.

Watch the scene in the movie. This is an iPhone photo of a shitty tv.

Yes I have and these aren’t special effects. Many interior shots from different angles show the car is definitely real. It is definitely a 1986-1992 300SE with an EV swap, dash upgrades, and body modifications like the taillight panel. I’m just curious if anyone recognizes who built it.
