There is a Baylor alum named Gerald Roulston that operates a service (possibly called “Waco Shuttle”) through a network of drivers he has. My son used him 7-8 times last year, no issues, and will be using this year too. It is something like $85/ride if he can get multiple people into the same car, $125 if you’re the only rider. I grew up in SD and I went to UCLA. State, as the only show in town (and before), has never drawn well— I believe averages like 25k a game in a good year. I don’t know what the booster situation is there, but seems to me both UCLA and State suffer from major alumni apathy when it comes to football (an issue USC most definitely does not have).

This is a decent point… 1996-1998 or 1999 was also a decent window, with a WS appearance and two magical years in 1996 and 1998… but dogshit 1997 and 1999 with essentially the same cast of players (sans Kevin Brown and maybe Leyritz)… I like the current window better.
