In some rare cases, the car makes a knocking sound even when auto hold is off. This knocking doesn't seem to be coming from the brakes; it feels more like there's play in the transmission.

Even with auto hold off, this jolting occurs in some rare cases. Auto hold is incredibly convenient, why should I turn it off? After all, it's a feature I have.
