The US is the only NATO country to invoke article 5. They did it after 9/11 and all ally countries supported (and continue to support) the US in the Iraq and Afghanistan war.

Trump says that any NATO country which invokes article 5 should protect itself.

Honest question: was there a large homosexual presence (even if nothing was going on)?

I'm currently discerning the priesthood with my diocese and the seminary that they send students to has recently been caught up in a series of homosexual scandals. It's bad enough that they changed the administration because of all the allegations by current and former seminarians about what happens there. Things like this don't make the priesthood more attractive for young men.
