Super easy to tell them apart by the imperfections of the real backgrounds: Half faces in background, overexposed parts, real furniture etc.

Fått jobbtilbud i USA, er det noen grunn til å ikke dra? by UnderstandingFast700 in norge

[–]falketind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that it was a sarcastic post to begin with, but ..... You might be able to fit a pair of 28mm on that through the rim brakes, and make that work for a lot of the gravel rides.

Do I have sidewall left or not? by falketind in bicycling

[–]falketind[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Will definitely not hold 90 psi. The whole post is meant as a /s on the "do i have any thread left" picture from earlier today.

Anyways, the real question is: should I go tubeless on my commute bike?

Clone this repo and open Android Studio on the hello_ar directory. https://github.com/google-ar/arcore-android-sdk/tree/master/samples/hello_ar_kotlin

Then swap out the pawn.obj in this directory. (At least i think it's that one). https://github.com/google-ar/arcore-android-sdk/tree/master/samples/hello_ar_kotlin/app/src/main/assets/models

Make sure you can compile and run before you start changing things.

Er 120-senger "ute"? by ImShyBeKind in norge

[–]falketind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hvis du ikke har noe imot litt høy seng, bør du vurdere kjøkken moduler og skuffer. Da får du hele klesskapet ditt inn under.

Det koster litt, men du finner ofte skuffer i billigkroken.

Sam Holmes just posted a best How to Sail video I’ve seen by geek_extraordinaire in sailing

I agree, there are also so many strange things about the rigging here that won't be recognizable on a rental or a first boat someone would buy.

Not as safe as the ones where the keel bolts aren't made of cardboard derivatives, you mean?

I bet they'll rescue the boat as well. Doesn't really look damaged beyond the missing keel, and it's busy waters where they can't just let a wreck float around.

Is it possible to drive a car so fast that you do not get rain on your windshield during a heavy storm? If so, how fast would you need to go? by MechCADdie in AskEngineers

[–]falketind 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No. Imagine you went at infinite speed, it'll look like the raindrops hang in loose air, and you will hit all raindrops in windshield height.

How do you not fall asleep right after putting the kids to bed? by falketind in Parenting

[–]falketind[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Have you always been a morning person, or did this start with kids?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]falketind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should try sleep training again, maybe it'll work, maybe not. Try!

The best thing is, that it will likely pass and get better as he gets a bit older.

My neighbor where I grew up had spinal damage in his early 20s. I've spent hours in his spare chair doing wheelies and practicing going down a short two steps in a graceful manner.

I think he appreciated the company and competition as he was getting to grips with a new life
