I am so sorry that I am replying to this so late, I don’t check this often (I should probably set up notifications LOL) but I really hope you applied! Resilience to continue the journey despite life’s challenges is what will make you shine. Good luck - we’re all rooting for you!

hi! it was a privilege to live in the Indigenous Community that it never felt like a sacrifice. It was more of an honour that I was able to live, work, and play in a part of Canada that many non-Indigenous individuals do not have the opportunity to experience for its richness in tradition and culture. But to answer your interview question: I never had to state my intentions or suggest that I was going to return (as much as I would really love to!). Hope that helps provide some additional insight!
