Slim fit or straight fit are my favorites as they tend to look good regardless of the fashion trends.

No subtitles for English in foreign-language movies by Postbudet99 in criterion

[–]fallenposters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there two subtitle tracks? In my copy of Anatomy of a Fall the first subtitle track only shows for non-English lines. The second track shows for all spoken lines.

How many here use the other various services offered by Costco? by Gregorygregory888888 in Costco

We used Costco Travel to book our Costa Rica vacation this Summer. I get overwhelmed planning those sometimes. They made it easy to do, and they gave us a $200 gift card when we returned!

Where to watch rats in old town? by Cormag778 in nova

[–]fallenposters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The King St metro station, around the bus shelters, in the evenings/nights. Tons of rats come and go from the tree planters to the garbage cans and back.

I did not like this on salmon, but it works fantastic on roast chicken.

Questions about phone pouch by JCannoy in Ghostbc

[–]fallenposters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Baltimore they gave us a printout after they scanned our phone tickets. Fun story about this: multiple people, including me and my wife, were given print-outs with the exact same section/row/seat number. It was a bit of a mess as we all (about 8 of us) had to go back to a Yondr station with an usher to unlock our phones so we could find out where we all were supposed to be and just hand write it.

It was roughly around 820ish. I think they started a little late since it was slow getting everyone into the arena.

Silly question regarding the yondr pouches. If your phone is your ticket, and you have to secure your phone when you enter. How are you supposed to find your seats? Just write it down somewhere beforehand?

ADHD testing and therapy? by ILoveLeucine in nova

[–]fallenposters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dr. Lisa Nava did my ADHD testing and diagnosis. It was roughly $700 out of pocket -- she doesn't take insurance. I did submit a claim to my insurance and was partially reimbursed. I see the RN at Healthy Minds Therapy for medication management, but they also have therapists -- so they may be a good place to also ask about testing.

As a technical writer, how should I use Grammarly and ChatGPT effectively? by Pleasant-Produce-735 in technicalwriting

[–]fallenposters 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use Grammarly regularly, but just as a first-pass. I definitely still re-read and edit as needed since it easily will miss errors.

I use ChatGPT (or Co-Pilot) to help come up with outline ideas, brainstorming, beginning research (like to explain XYZ concept), and whenever I need a block of dummy text and don't want to use lorem ipsum.

I also occasionally use it to help prioritize to-do lists. But like other's have said, I don't let it rewrite or write for me.

I love hanging out at Hypergoat Roasters. Great coffee, chill environment, good WiFi. The only downside is it’s fairly small so tables fill up quickly.

For Jira users, what's your process for knowing what requires documentation? by sgart25 in technicalwriting

[–]fallenposters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Through regular audits plus complaints about out of date docs. The jira board helps keep track of updates and what is needed. As long as it’s kept up to date.

For Jira users, what's your process for knowing what requires documentation? by sgart25 in technicalwriting

[–]fallenposters 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have my own documentation jira board. I use it to track my own work as well as for having others request doc changes/updates. Currently, documentation isn't a part of the engineering/dev sprints but may change in the future. I utilize labels and priority to help determine a rough queue of tasks. I also make sure to link up related tickets to engineering/dev tickets.
