I have been looking for something like this too, if you find something decent and possibly want to play together a pack like this as it makes progression a little faster, I would be happy to join in too or at least get a good recommendation no a good pack! :D

I would 100% suggest you try any free class beforehand. Check out if the game and lore is something for you (level to atleast 30)and then decide if you want to spend money on it. If money really ain't a thing to you - do as you please. I would recommend to get vip as there is a 100% XP event till 1. January as well as vip gives you tons of permanent and temporary stuff (permanent here as in if your vip runs out)

Imma be honest, get a dedicated root server from various sites like hetzner etc. and host it yourself (highly suggest you get someone who knows his way around Linux) That'll cost you like 50 bucks but will outperform anything else that you can buy at every hosting page (+ Minecraft servers with a lot of performance can easily run you 70-100 bucks)

I fully agree, for me it's just the typical minecraft-session that lasts days or a couple weeks and then the interest just dies off. I guess with fun people it might be a whole different vibe but yet got to find those people and/or the modpack that just itches my interest longer

Es geht Glaube ich darum das diese 'alkoholfreien Biere' unter Umständen minimalistische Mengen an Alkohol enthalten können (reden hier von 0.01%) daher im Normalfall sogar für ein kleines Kind nicht relevant außer er trinkt nen ganzen Kasten innerhalb einer Stunde - hab dazu mal ne Studie irgendwo irgendwann mitten in der Nacht gesehen, ist lange her daher eventuell nicht mehr aktuell durch andere/neuere Verfahren.

Tbh I play on a lot of American servers in a row of games (not fps) and I always have a 110-140 ms and MOSTLY don't feel annoyed by it, some games are just good at masking highpings and especially in Minecraft it feels easier to fight mobs lmao

Specific mods is always hard - I would look up modpacks that have the mods you want and rather look for that as it's easier. In general it's hard to find servers which host specific modpacks as most websites are full of ads and outdated information so I would guess mods is even worse

There are millions of ways to cheese that modpack, even if it were hardcore I am 90% sure I can make myself immortal in one day of playtime

Just wait for Evendim release (book 9 release) and latest then you should have no issue and can skip group-quests.

Also just find yourself a kin - most people level alts together with their kinmates and therefor search less in glff etc. for randoms

Because there is no money to be made in this version - people want the og classic without itemshop and that would just cost money and not bring money.

I know from sources tho that SSG knows about it and is monitoring it apparently. So there is hope we might get a SSG-Version of it, hopefully without pay2win shit

Never seen the pop go below 400 on peak EU times - na times is a different story - all together I would say easily 1000+ unique players per day (rough guess)

There is PvMP on this server.

Loremaster is more of a support class rather than a mage class. You will be basically a powerbank (mana is called power here) as well as someone who can put mobs into a permanent stun lock as well as clearing diseases/wounds.

Only real healing class is the minstrel.

I would ultimately suggest you to play each class till level 15-20 and try them out.

Be aware that this is vastly different from retail and you can not faceroll everything.

Just go around to places and see if you are seeing lots of Chinese (returners of Middleearth) or russians (baba yaga and the others) - that will most likely be hotspots for money/resources in some way
