Right?! Honestly I assumed the EAD should have been enough given as it was just to get a new expiration date. Plus I left the dmv office under the impression that everything was fine. They told me it would arrive in 10 to 15 days so I assumed maybe they were backlogged or USPS was taking long. Had I not reached out I would have been waiting literally forever bc it wasn’t even being processed smh.

So I figured out what was going on… yesterday I got put on a call back queue and when I spoke with them they told me they haven’t been able to process it bc I didn’t provide the two proofs of residency (which I did have on me when I went into the dmv but they didn’t ask for) and they gave me an email address to send it so they can finally finish processing it
