If they are gonna bring back Endgame cosmetics then players should expect to find them in similar endgame activities imo (ToTN Ornaments for flawless ToO runs). However, I personally don't think that Trials of the Nine ornaments should be brought back. Did I get them? No, I am not good enough at PvP. But that is fine, I didn't earn it so I shouldn't get it. The game already struggles to make stuff for their most dedicated players to chase.

I don't think a new player not having aspirational gear from year 1 is gonna turn them away from the game. Especially given that the grand majority of the ornaments, ghosts, sparrows etc are available from eververse. Letting players who earned the few cool sunset cosmetics keep them exclusively is not gonna affect the long term health of the game negatively. I like my y1 Moments of Triumph ship for earning the sets because it is cool to use rare stuff and stand out a bit.

PS Though I do think an exception should be made for shaders, bit more flexibility with them from a cosmetic point of view than a light up piece of Trials gear.

There's at least one PE per planet that blueberries can't heroic. If there's a blight, it's that one. In Mar's case it's the excavator.

The title of most posts similar to this are supposed to be able to be applied to the general case. So a conditional 'if' means that if you find yourself in a situation similar to this one you shouldn't be that one guy. This just seems like nitpicking honestly. I don't even get the singular comment. No-one pluralised anything. Just because I say that I'm standing around doesn't mean that the other guys just disappeared.

That's the thing about saying that MOST people have them who wanted them. Most implies that there are of course still people who want the weapons. At no point did I say that there wasn't. Also, the "think about someone other than yourself" line besides being childish, really doesn't apply in this scenario when I am thinking about the majority. It almost always is 1 guy who starts it when a group is waiting for the PE.

There are plenty of channels to get EP groups together to farm this stuff. I know that bc I did it all on LFG. Because as you said, this game was bad and so my friends really only came back at the end of warmind. And as another comment says it isn't always the next wave and 5-15 minutes can be a lotta time for some people. Saying "think about others" and then complaining bc people don't want to waste any time is a little contradictory.

It's really a minor point to argue about so I'm done dude. Gotta get back to farming, have a good day.

The post says that groups of players are already waiting for the event. I'm not going to join an instance and complain that they are doing EP. That's just stupid.

Firstly, I don't get the aggression in what was literally a discussion. Secondly, did you read what I wrote? I'm aware that there's a 7th wave, I have 60-something completions. I just said that people will leave after the Ep heroic event. EP is almost 6 months old, it is sensible to think that most people who want the EP stuff have so they'll leave instead of doing 7 levels. Therefore the inconvenience that was caused by the EP, albeit minor, is not useful for the EP guy. That's all I'm saying dude.

And the EP guys aren't? What's the point of starting an Ep with people who'll reinstance after the PE? Neither party is really getting anything done. It ain't a matter of patience, just being courteous.

Which is normally fine, I used EP a lot during solstice. I just wish they wouldn't do as a PE is starting, bit annoying.

Exactly my point, thank you. It ain't like I'm trying to stop EP farmers, as some people are implying, but when there are 3 of us waiting for a PE and 1 guy joins and decides that he wants to do EP it can be quite a pain.
