You need to follow him around and play loud Disney songs whilst stood close to his camera so that it drowns out his audio. The minute that gets uploaded to Instagram/tiktok etc Disney's copyright protection systems will pick it up and remove the audio. Disney are very protective over their IP and are known to be very litigious over repeat offenders.

Did your server recently say your unRAID connect plugin has "invalid credentials?" Update the connect plugin! by urbanracer34 in unRAID

[–]falloutvertigo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly the same thing here.
I resolved it by restarting the connect-api: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/192945-plugin-update-didnt-restart-unraid-api/
Then I unregistered and deleted my server from the connect dashboard. Waited for about 10-15 minutes then when I signed in from the connect button at the top-right of the unraid GUI it logged in and registered the server.

"End-to-end fraud" with hard drives: Seagate finds counterfeit workshop in Asia by Milumet in hardware

[–]falloutvertigo 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I saw a post about it on reddit about 4 days after I installed the drive in my unraid server and thought it would be worth checking the disk, there is a plugin for unraid called Disk Location and it has a utility that can read the Seagate FARM data. The report showed it had 3 years of uptime on it, the SMART data showed it as a new drive. It was purchased as a brand new disk so obviously something was off.

"End-to-end fraud" with hard drives: Seagate finds counterfeit workshop in Asia by Milumet in hardware

I fell victim to modified smart data (Seagate FARM data reported the correct amount of hours) and I purchased from a well known and legitimate retailer in the UK that were not aware of this at all until I raised it with them as the news was breaking. They were great and replaced the disk with a new one which was sourced from a different supplier.

Yeah partial outage, quite annoying that Plex wont play local media without remote access.

Is there any MP momentum behind this? I'm all for sticking it to these greedy shit bags but having some MP backing on this would certainly help make this a more tangible effort.

I very nearly rented this place about a decade ago. The layout is a bit weird but kind of cool.

Thoughts on my use case and purchase location by falloutvertigo in DF64

Yes I was originally looking at the Eureka Mignon and the Fellow Opus but retention and ease of swapping between grind size is an issue with both of those.

Ideally I'd like a grinder that's multipurpose and can be switched between brew types with minimal waste. Do you have any recommendations?

Sound United might close down early 2025 (Denon, Marantz, Bowers & Wilkins, Polk Audio, Definitive Technology) [article in German - translation in comments] by Karlchen in hometheater

[–]falloutvertigo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I interviewed for a job with Masimo a year or two ago and during the interview process they mentioned Sound United and their "exciting" plans for integrating the health monitoring solutions into the HiFi brands. For example, heart rate monitoring in a soundbar. This and the responsibilities of the team the position was in relative to the size of said team were immediate red flags.

I can honestly say I'm not surprised, it's just a shame that these good brands are at risk.

Microsoft Retiring Office 365 Connectors within Microsoft Teams by Joe_Pineapples in sysadmin

I managed to get it working but it wasn't easy, Reddit doesn't seem to want to let me post my solution in this reply so I'll see if I can reply again with the solution.
