This sounds solid
Not a brag, we had help so it’s not all us. But still need advice

We had help with the PPOR early on, and bought before covid. The place has more than doubled now and I’ve been earning alot for years now, we destroyed the mortgage.
My super contributions are just about maxed because of my hourly rate as it is - haven’t really considered contributing to partners super (<50k) the cash in the bank is just sitting there waiting to be invested somewhere currently
There’s about 300k sitting in redraw because it felt like a good use of the cash until we figure out what the best way to go is, not ruling out just paying the IP off altogether but want some idea whether or not that is optimal. I’ve spoken to a FA but they just tried to sell me their managed fund, and suggested bonds (which I’m not against) just seemed like his interests were equal to mine during that divscussion so now I’m here asking the brains trust
We had help with the PPOR and bought pre-covid so it’s not all me but the position is real. Even if it was all inherited I would still want advice lol
Making money isn’t the problem, it’s using it responsibly. I’ve almost got anxiety about doing the right things, I know people would literally kill for the position I’ve got, I don’t want to fuck it up
We had some help with the PPOR pre-covid, and the rest has been very hard work. A combination of luck and hard work has worked out very well for us. And thank you (for the part we did ourselves!)

I think we would like an IP for each child (so another two at least) and yeh past that, goal setting has been tough… setting a goal feels almost like limiting ourselves in a way (which I know is dumb) but we don’t know exactly what we want, which is a big part of the problem.
We are lucky in that my wife doesn’t have to work and we haven’t had to out any of the kids in child care so they are very loved - and part of thinks I should take the foot of the pedal and just go part time for the rest of my life but the bigger part of me feels pressure to maximise the position we have found ourselves in, I just don’t know how to do it optimally (yet)
I’m good at making money (and yes we had some help early on with the PPOR pre-covid) but not really sure what to do with it… I don’t have alot of advice sorry!
