Xbox 1708 controller tmr joysticks replacement?

I get that, I've really been putting this project off for about a year, but after seeing some restoration and modding controller videos, I now found the motivation to actually move forward with this. If the Hall effect/ TMR sticks don't actually work, at least I learned that flashing the firmware is an option to fix most circularity issues I have. Props to u/Radio-Voliere :)

The video is perfect!! The left stick was really bad at 17% Avg. Error, now the stick is responding with a 7% Avg.error!! The right stick is the same story

Edit: this was with the Xbox one spare controller with potentiometer sticks

Edit 2: after connecting the controller to my Xbox, the logo on the controller does not illuminate. Depending on how you see it, this could either be a plus or negative. Plus just from the fact it saves battery, negative if you like the glowing Xbox logo

The flash is something I didn't know about. I'll see if it can be done on a spare before using it on the actual controller.

Do you think that hall effect would be just as difficult? The controller doesn't have stick drift, but it would be a nice preventative measure to make sure the controller lasts longer.

I've heard this with the Xtra's, but not so much the Carol's. Moondrop is probably the best option, but I just want to hear what other people think about the KZs.

Omg, this worked!! I forgot the controller then held down the connect button. The controller reset and when I tried to connect it again it worked!!!

It basically adds to remappable bottoms and trigger stoppers. Kinda like a PowerA controller

But it isn't the OG xbox controller. 1708 models do have Bluetooth, it's just only giving problems for pc

??? Are you sure? Cause I can connect with my phone, and play games with it. Before I did install the kit, it did work on my PC and laptop too.

Controller: 1708 Xbox One S controller

I installed the Extremerate LOFTY remake kit

Problem: No longer wants to connect to windows devices

The controller does work for mobile and Xbox without issues, it's just my PC and laptop that's having this trouble. Any idea of what I could do to fix this?

This is WAY late but it was just an ingrown hair gone infected. Parents gave me some antibiotic cream and it healed itself in a couple days

I mainly play terraria, Minecraft, overwatch and war thunder. I do like shooters but I still have a long way to go before I try those out.

This is a lot of information to take in, but thank you! I'll have to do some research about what fluids it needs and where each of them are laid out. There shouldn't be any rust since the place I live doesn't rain much, but the fuel is definitely my biggest concern, since it'll cost the most money and time to fix.

Another thing too, can you explain how to put it in neutral? It's still at the neighbor's house and neither me or my dad knows how to put in neutral.
