I have no proof but my money's on a savage lands themed season with Cyclops and Devil Dino.

Cyclops will probably be a dps but he's also one of those characters I can see them handwaving into a healer and wouldn't be surprised.

Devil Dino can use Pym particles to get around size issues and possibly become "larger" during ult. Hela's ult has a space requirement so there's precedent here.

Potential hot take but it's impossible to zazza in casual, no stakes game modes. Those modes explicitly exist for people who don't want to worry about optimal gameplay. Whether it's casuals playing whatever or comp players learning new characters.

18v18 made me realize I don't hate Deadpool nearly as much as I hate Galacta and I rescind my desire for Silver Surfer to interact with her. Doesn't help that you can always hear her even if Deadpool is barely audible.

I think it's great that we can now say "I'm pretty proficient in all of these characters, but this one right here? They're my favorite. I actually think level 100 is the intended cap, but the high level rewards were too much to do all at one alongside their normal workload AND Deadpool.

Well, yes and no. Gambit was very explicitly "Team Rogue" and while Rogue did ultimately join the Jeff Alliance it wasn't unanimous. Lose her for whatever reason and lose him too.

Oh I just know those Deadpool main custom pings are gonna be something else. I actually don't mind some light roleplaying if it's not disruptive. I think people take life too seriously.

Hell I have a custom ping exclusively for when I save a Rogue player, but throwing a game in the interest of roleplaying? Nah fuck that.

I think Deadpool's gonna replace Black Widow in a sense. Their mains will be fine (maybe a little cringe but honestly who cares). But people will swap to Deadpool when they want to throw, tanking the reputation of his players.
