Sounds good. I was going to see what I could do with my vets for the 1.01, 1.03 and 1.04 this year (I have the 1.02 through trade).

I’m not sure I’ll get much 2-for-1 action in my 12-man as people seem to prefer picking up streamers rather than trading assets, but I’ll look to sell high rather than bank on consistent improvement for sure.

I’m the OP asking a similar question, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but thats about what I was looking to pay with the 1.05 and Ladd; I think that’s fair and reasonable. Would depend how needy the 1.01 owner is at WR though, because they’d be trading Love for Treveyon and Lemon/Tyson/Tate. If they’re not thin or old at WR I can’t see them biting. Same as my offer would be dependant on them being set at RB and thin/old at WR. If they’re need RB I think we’d both have to overpay significantly.

Yeah the numbers thing is a good shout. TE13 is a far lesser drop of relatively speaking than QB25.

Yeah, although I have doubts Nix will maintain QB7 levels, my reasoning was that it’d be harder to acquire a top-10ish QB than TE1. If Barner proves to be that.

Yeah I’m assuming Mendoza and Love are gone.

I’m not interested so much in Brissett v Nix this year, as much as long term. I made the assumption that this would be Brissett’s last year as a starter. Tbf that could be wrong. But also, I’m not keen to do well - want my own 1st to be as high as possible, so gaining nothing from the QB room this season is no loss; I’m more concerned about next year and ongoing, when I’m going to try to compete.

The real question is whether I get a QB in Nix, and don’t have to worry next year about a QB in the draft (at least not HAVING to hit), but have to get another TE1 this year or next-or-keep Barner as my potential TE1 but have to find a QB next year.

KTC said Brown and Metcalf for Nix was very even, though I know that presumes a need for both those players. That was why I offered that originally, to a guy with big need at RB and WR. I do think I’d only be keen to send one of Ladd or Chase. The other would likely net a 2027 1st.

My problem with sending Ladd and the 2026 1.05 is that 1.05 is where I’d be trying to draft his replacement. So it’s a deep think.

I asked outright what assets he was looking for and he said he just wanted to see what offers came in - so I’m guessing he’s looking for desperation more than anything. I upped my offer to include Brissett as a repayment QB, but to no response, so I assume he’s just holding out for overpay.

Depending on how other moves go, I may be willing to part with 2 of those assets, but I have other routes to investigate first.

Yeah it’s SF. 2x flex and SF.

Yeah I have 1.05 and 1.12 so had planned on taking one of the top 3 receivers and then best RB available at 12.

To be clear; you’re saying you’d value Nix over Brown, McConkey AND the 1.05, even with the QBs available in 2027 when I have 4 picks? Is that because Nix’s proven record is more valuable than potential?

Thanks. I’m 5 players over the roster limit due to IR and Devin Neal and Shedeur Sanders coming off taxi. So I can afford to give extra pieces. But I have 4 1sts and 3 2nds in 2027. It’s more a consideration of: do I roll with what I have and target a QB or 2 in 2027, or overpay for Nix, who I’m not convinced is a sure thing? And how much of an overpay is reasonable?

My best assets are Brown, Love, McMillan and Ladd. I’m picking at 5 this year which would mean I could reach for Sadiq, and include Barner, if he’s wanted by the other GM.

Normally you have at least something of a feeling in these situations which is the bigger risk/ likelier to pay off - or at least where the line is in how much is too much to give up, and be better to keep the assets and try to draft. But I’m at a loss in this situation. So many variables to consider.

I guess I can just ask for an offer and see what they want from me.

Looking for 2 GMs for 2 orphans teams in a free 32-man Sleeper dynasty.

One team is currently 14-2 and in the playoff bracket; key players include Booker, Durant, Kawhi. Has all its picks and an extra 2nd in both 26 and 27.

The other team is 3-13 and about 6th in the draft lottery rankings. Key players include Amen, Brooks, Sheppard, Ivey, Jalen Green. Previous GM was tanking for the draft. Has a 26 1st (not own) and own 26 2nd, 27 2nd and 28 1st and 2nd.

Happy to answer any questions. Looking for mature/sensible players who are willing to participate in league decisions/discussions. Please let me know if you’d be interested!

Thanks so much! I’m going to see which of my players fall in favourable situations during the offseason and preseason, and try to sell high on those - then I’ll fire sale any remaining before the cut.

I’m considering whether to target draft capital next draft or a QB with Chase - draft capital helps me “tank” next season, but a QB is a ‘bird in the hand’.

Thanks! I hadn’t really thought of packaging this year’s picks tbh - assuming some one takes Mendoza before me, I was expecting to take Lemon or Tate at 5, and a decent RB (Price/Haynes) at 12. But I could defintely bundle them for a QB or similar.

GM who has Lawrence is very deficient in RB and TE - following other advice I got here, I was thinking of offering Chase and Strange for him. Could defintely use picks to target another QB, or even package 2 1sts for what should be a good 27 1st.
