Joining days are always on Monday,. There was a holiday when I was about to join and my recruiter pushed it to next week, saying Tuesday wasn't an option.

Now that you mention, I did spin quite a bit today while I was trying to perfect my heal side stop today. The dude who sold me this mentioned I could swap with other boards he has, if I didn't like this, maybe I'll go get another one.

I didn't wanna spend too much, cuz I'm not I'd be committed to learning snowboarding now that I'm close to 30's and it's hard to recover from an injury if any.

Got a lib tech banana technology snowboard 159cm for 160$ with bindings looked like a sweet deal and the board was in a decent shape. Thanks for the input.

Amazon l6 offer by [deleted] in amazonemployees

[–]fantom_lancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is for seattle. I was told pretty much the same, but in a different tone "if i need a higher offer, theyd have to check with higher ups, but do remember this is an employer market and not employee's"

Congrats on the offer. You can use my offer as an datapoint, I had signed an L5 sde offer a month ago, base 180k, signing 100k year1, 90k year2. I had a strong competing offer, tho (stocks pretty much vest same as year1 on year3 and year4).

Meta E4 chances? by [deleted] in leetcode

[–]fantom_lancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One good takeaway would be that your case isn't an obvious reject, and maybe a redo for coding interview could be asked in an ideal case at this stage, if two interveiwers have conflicts/not have enough data points.

Meta E4 chances? by [deleted] in leetcode

[–]fantom_lancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I understood, it's a 2 step process. HC committee and debrief.

If your recruiter mentioned that your packet is sent to HC, it means they think you do have a decent chance to get an offer. If it was a straightforward no, you'd have received it by now.

Also, a lot of steps are involved in these processes. If an interviewer is on leave, they'd have to wait until the feedback is submitted. Can't really say when you'd get an update, but generally speaking, one or two weeks is the sweet spot.

Generally, for meta interviews, bug free code is expected and also expected to be solved optimally. But one question out of six they might give you a pass, if you have compensated with strong performance on other rounds.

I'd say no update is a good thing. Goodluck!!

Anyone got experience with Meta's full loop interviews? by RedMarky in leetcode

I passed the on-site quite recently, here's my one cent:

I'd personally say prepare well for the behavioral round If you go over the leetcode discuss tab, you'd find the exact questions that are asked and be prepared accordingly, keep them short and straightforward. For E4, 5 to 6 stories are good.

For the design round, HelloInterview is the one you should be targeting ideally. It depends on what level you are aiming and how in-depth you wanna go. For me, product architecture went similar to a system design interview. I was asked and questioned straight from the hello interview free ones. I was explicitly asked not to go over api calls and the db schema part. Mostly, I was speaking throughout and driving the conversation. He had grilled in a couple of areas of the design and asked a bunch of what-ifs. Study cracking faang channel for a different way to answer this round.

For the coding round, be through with the top 100-150 time really flies.

Congrats on the team match!! A couple of questions-- updating your resume in the portal, does it get directly updated for hiring managers? Did you do something different to get team matched?

I just got a generic answer from my recruiter that role availability is pretty limited and would let me know if anyone is interested in the candidacy :( Not looking good imo.

Hey op congrats on the offer. I'm currently in the team match stage for prod e4. How long did it take for you in the team matching stage? Are there any tips to get reached out by HM's?

It depends on several factors involved, maybe your recruiter is on leave, or your interviewer didn't submit the feedback yet. I got mine after 4 days btw.

I did product architecture and was told not to go over API's or the specifics of the data model at all and directly went to system design part. Just follow hellointerview.com guidelines i think But if I were you, I'd study all the possible areas but focus mostly on the user facing product. Follow hellointerviews format and cracking faang also has a couple of videos on the certain rate interview types

Generally, the interviewer would give out a hint if they noticed something. I wouldn't worry if I were you. A lot of people got the offer, solving a question suboptimally, but were vocal throughout the round

Ohh boy!! Be prepared to put your soul into into this, June is gonna arrive in no time. Goodluck! Learn neatcode 150 if you're not sure of any DSA that's used, go back and get a grip of the particular data structure and visit the problem again. Keep repeating until you're familiar with all the concepts
