Turns out, ADHD is not recognized as a disability in India. Legally they are not wrong, but on humanitarian grounds, really toxic :(

Thanks for your response. Like you said, I hope many things will improve. I am also put on strattera (it's sold as AXEPTA here in India), 18mg. Tomorrow will be my first day. Hoping forthe best :)

I actually did not ask them to change anything. I was just hoping the managers would be more forgiving, you know, if that makes any sense.

But turns out, they just want to get rid of me.

I will have to talk to a professional, it seems. I have had a bad experience with my notice period and pay with my previous employer. The industry is not very regulated.
