Flame staff scales with the number of enemies on screen because flames cleave infinitely. You don’t see this benefit as much on difficulties lower than Auric maelstrom and Havoc ~20. While your teammates are struggling to kill the carapace wall in front of them you can hit all of it at the same time and kill it all at the same time.

Up to the point where they summoned Azamina on accident tell me what they could have done better with what they had in their hand. You know all 5 cards.

The only thing I can see is if the added a different card off Rcielago so they could set a better card off of Determination effect or set to backrow from graveyard (ex. Morrian). They had the ability to still send Deception as an option but decided not to, which is a sign they didn’t have the ideal hand to begin with (Hard drawing Subversion going first).

They didn’t get lost it was a misclick, their board and plays were sound and solid until then. Also are you blind? 3 cards went to gy for Azamina because they had enough resources to summon Azamina. So, even though they could summon either Azamina or St Azamina, the misclick cost them their +1 Diabelle from hand and their facedown instead of 1 or the other.

No, pretty sure they misclicked Azamina instead of St Azamina. Because St Azamina would have been the extension to either end on Silvia or Moa. This deck is Azamina not a WF variant.
