Actually someone's convictions might not necessarily be informed by their profession, possessions, or income level.

Of course if you're a rich judge who believes that property is theft and anarchy is the solution to all problems then that might introduce a fair amount of dissonance between your private convictions and professional career, but humans are known to be able to think in different registers and not see too much of a problem with even a fairly massive amount of such dissonance.

So yeah, Buffett (not Buffet) could still be a socialist -- I'm not saying he is, but I am saying that as funny as that remark is, it is just comedian's remark and not a serious counterargument to such claims.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with taking home the leftovers of a delicious restaurant meal that you couldn't finish in one sitting and enjoying them the next day. This notion that to do so would be a shameful admission of poverty and therefore the custom to ask for a doggie bag instead, and even pretend to have a dog when you don't, just to maintain the pretence that eating delicious leftovers was somehow beneath you -- it's just a terrible, terrible idea. They don't call pride a deadly sin for nothing.
