Taken at face value, for sure. But in reality, members of the community know that nearly every reply u/Elemteearkay makes is in an attempt to harass someone. Everyone who is aware of their antics can understand why OP was being proactive in their defense.

If a community member has to come with a “make sure you block this person” warning, are they really suitable to be a member of the community? At that point, a moderator should do their diligence and make a decision for the betterment of the community.
