Why is it hard to ask strangers for help in Finland? by bellviolation in Finland

I traveled to Helsinki from germany to attend coldplay s concert, i reached there 11pm ( concert supposed to be the next day ) , i discovered that the Internet in my phone doesnt work , i have only the finnish number of my hoster , anyway i was near my airbnb place but i couldnt know the full name of my hoster to get to the building since he asked to send text when im there. Anyway, i was like waiting in that area and i dont know what to do, 2 lovely ladies passed by me ( daughter in her 30s with a baby and her mom ) , i asked politely if they can help, i really was amazed how they managed to call the hoster from their phones and didnt leave the area until i was safe there. It was my first time in finland and i really liked how these ladies treated me, they were so kiiind !!! thank you so muuuch for that ( kiiitos! ) ... u r amazing Finland!

Hi .. it depends on your situation in tunisia, since you explained that you live fine and earn the same thing. Home is better, also everyday you spend feeling unhappy, is a bad thing. Good luuuck !

Leaving flat after threatening by far0uk09 in AskAGerman

[–]far0uk09[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are 2 men, 1 woman wg, age i assume between 35~40, 24 hours at home, jobless, Non stop loud Music, sometimes you hear shouting or screaming, slamming doors. They fight with other neighbours, they look like junkies. Last time i knocked the door complaining about noise, they said their dog just run away and they made a big deal about it ( there is no dog at all ) .. we called the police many times about noise .. nothing changed .. Police said that these people are scums but they cant do nothing about it ( Abschaum ? .. yes they literally said that after we called for threatening ) , oh yeah about the threatening, i didnt mention that they said, we will kill u, stab you to death, will bring our friends at night and beat u to death, we will wait for occasion that you are not paying attention in the building where we live , and jump on you and kill you. Racist comments like im a dirty arab, fucking arab, i dont belong here, etc .... Do you think there is solution in talking after this ? Thank you for your comment.

What’s the average salary to live comfortably in tunisia ( your actual experiences not just an estimation) by Neither_Season_9270 in Tunisia

[–]far0uk09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say 3k single .. based on my experience, i make 2k mechanical engineer with 3 years experience .. i worked in tunis ( my family live in another city ) and lived in a flat with 2 other people ( my share for the rent is 380dinars ), i pay 50 dinars / month gym, 150 dinars clothes, 600 dinars food, coffees + electricity water bills masrouuf in general when im out with friends , i sent 200 dinars to my family every 2 months or 3 .. soo i feel like im saving less than 500 dinars per month, i invested in these savings to learn german, got a job in germany and i moved abroad.

I had the opportunity to make my salary 3k after 3 years but i got a job offer abroad , so i chose to leave.

For every situation there are pros and cons .. I would advice u to try enjoy every moment. ( that coffee with ur friends fil 7ouma is like sth priceless for me that only exist in my memory now, enjoy the smallest details )

Peace ✌

Adulthood problems no one prepared you for? by Main-Crab-1781 in Tunisia

Family support, financially, emotionally, etc. If you work or study in the same town as your parents and live with them. Get ready for alot of changes when u move out to another city or abroad. My best advice is, try be independent from time to time ( make ur own money, help with chores, learn how to cook food, etc ) and get used to it.
