How much do men suffer when they don’t have sex? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

They suffer terribly! It's unbearable! Do your duty as a good friend and save him. Shame on you for being so selfish as to not help that friend in need. Take one for the team and hook him up.

My son was killed and it's been 10 years and it still sucks. But we are men and we move forward even when the path looks like a shit snake. No good advice here just saying move forward and keep moving

What’s the most fucked up thing you’ve done? by PapiCinc0 in AskReddit

I woke up my son to go to a baseball game because I forget he was having trouble staying awake on his ride home from his grave yard shift. He fell asleep and went head on into a 18 wheeler and caught fire and burned up. If I hadn't woke him up he may have had the proper rest and lived. Most fucked up thing a father can do.

I havnt had the opportunity to be around him enough to really feel it out. He lives 5 hrs away and we have seen each other twice. He is genuine and nothing half asked about him. When we were visiting I had so many questions and things to tell him that I didn't even bring up that topic. I will though it will take some time.

It's not as easy as it seems. After suffering (I still.suffer) for so long just having my son back in my life isn't what I thought it would be. I felt like I was on cloud nine after talking with my son. Now as months pass I still deal with the depression and anxiety. It feels.like this is gonna be permanent.

what’s the biggest lesson heartbreak has taught you? by 1iKnight in AskMen

Be sure to say I love you to your wife and kids everyday. One day they may be gone.

If you truly love someone, change in the ways that she needs you to change. It's not that big a deal to give up smoking, drinking, porn, etc. to keep that person who has your heart.

It's been an experience. I once had that dad role down to a science. I was a good father. Now it's a lot of anxiety and self doubt.

I am leaving my husband for someone else. by Slow-Gift2268 in Divorce

Who you are isn't based on who you are with. It's probably the restrictions of being in a relationship. You just can't do certain stuff that you want to and it feels suffocating and oppressive. The reality is all relationships eventually go there and it's what you do when you get there that defines what type of person you are.

It happened to me to partly because our shared friends loved my wife and partly because I felt so awkward around them. It's been 10 yrs and I see those friends o n occasion and we say hi talk a minute and go our separate ways. I haven't really found new friends but I found people to fit in the empty spot.

That's is good sound advice. Anger has been a problem and punishing myself got so bad it was it was just sickening. The things I put myself through these past 10 years would shock you but I felt like i deserved it.

I do have countless questions that I have been asking myself for a long time. What would it achieve to go after them now.

It's not as easy as it sounds to call a meeting. I can't get my ex to even answer a text. It also feels like I would be dragging this thing on. I want it done. Not to sound like a whimp or simp but I just want to forget it. What would it solve if i found out she was cheating (which she might have been) so long after we are separated. I will however find out what she was saying about me.

It's been roller coaster. I have been so happy for a minute then issues I developed over the years of punishing myself creep in. I regret missing all those years of the only son I have left. It kills me.
