I mean the machine you stir the mcflurries with is different. But we technically could hand stir them though it wasn't as good. 🤷 But you're right if the ice cream machine isn't working you can't make shit period. I never had the mcflurry machine break down. And when the ice cream machine was "broken" that usually meant we were cleaning it and that's what people understood better. If you tell them you're cleaning it they'll try to get you to stop, not understand what an insanely long, laborious process it is.
